![]() ![]() I suppose the player skill plays biggest role. True, but I don't think they need to necessarily die off.įew times, I've seen even a solo player sailing a destroyer hustle over to north and take care of both ships (and the forts too, wow) at once, and then come back to the west side to help out, and then live to make it to the evac zone to top it off. ![]() Though this is for if the evac is not located at the north. Also that BB should start to head North once the enemy BB and CV in the base are being shot at particularly slow BBsįor cruisers it's safer to do two ships, but can still be done with one and whoever goes North can just go on a suicide run by either ramming the enemy BB in the north if the cruiser is dealt with and if the enemy BB is low enough health to die by the ram or just charge straight into the other enemy spawn guns blazing.īetter for the ships in the North to just die off thus reducing the amount of ships needed to go into the evac zone. Only one BB is needed to cover the North. I often get 4 or 5 star victories on the operation without too much trouble. Still, for most of times, it's not so bad for me and most people seem to pull through decently. ![]() I literally have to call out "Who wants to go west with me to hunt CV's? We get more reward if we get 5 stars" in order to drag couple ships with me to west. I don't like it when majority of the ships just automatically starting heading north after clearing the base, just because the evac point is there or they remember seeing the targeted Kaiser from one of their past games. It all can even be done by just one ship, if the captain is very capable (by that I mean the player behind the keyboard, not the in-game captain sitting in the ship). Killing a slow BB, a torpedo-less cruiser, and two forts shouldn't require too many ships. Even then, at most 2 ~ 3 ships (depending on where the evac point spawns) are enough for that. Speaking of going north, no one should head up north until the base is all cleared and the game tells the team to evacuate. ![]()
